The Concept of Mosaic Mimic Panel System was moved in 1988-89 with the co-operation of ECIL by doing our first job worth Rs.3.03 lakh for the pipeline network at Dulia Jan, Assam. Then TISCO came to us for panels followed by a big job of Mosaic Console Insert for the SAIL plant at Vishakapatnam, with the panel length being 20m and the height 2.6 m. The job was done at site and installed in 1990-91.
KONKAN RAILWAY CORPORATION LTD. Association
We wrote a letter to Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. in 1993, and also participated in an exhibition of switchgear and control panels in February, in Mumbai. The Chief Electrical Engineer of KRCL visited our stall to assess our capabilities with respect of control panels. That was beginning of our association with KRCL. Earlier, our assessment, following a visit to a manufacturing set-up in France, enabled us to manufacture imported design without any collaboration. This was what we did from 1989-90 with the help of indigenous manufacturers.
